Intellectual Property

ChromaCon's intellectual property is protected by several patent families. The core patent for the MCSGP-process technology has been filed in 2005 (c.f. WO/2006/116886) and covers a broad range of process variations as well as a broad application area including biopharmaceuticals. This patent is already granted in the USA, EP, China and India and has entered the national phase in Japan. ChromaCon has prospective exclusivity and freedom to operate under this patent.

Due to its strong IP, ChromaCon has a unique position in the area of continuous chromatography.
