Standard batch processes
All Contichrom systems have full batch chromatography process capabilities with isocratic, step and gradient elution modes. The ChromIQ software contains a Batch Purification Wizard to aid the design and execution of batch processes.
Two-step integrated batch processes
All Contichrom systems can combine two chromatographic steps, for example a capture and a polish step, into a single process. The eluted product fraction from the first column can be diluted in-line and thus directly be loaded onto a second column. A holding step is therefore not required. Integrated batch processes are ideally suited for high-throughput purifications in discovery.
