ChromaCon and its partner H&E open a new training center in Beijing

Zurich/Beijing, October 27, 2017.

ChromaCon has established a strong presence in China having distribution partners in Beijing (H&E) and Shanghai (ES Technologies) and a business development desk in Shanghai.

We are proud to announce that we have established a training center for automated and continuous chromatography at the Chinese National Engineering Research Center for Protein Drugs in Beijing (see below for pictures).

The training center will be operated by H&E and institute staff. It will provide modular training courses in automated batch and continuous chromatography processes with Contichrom® equipment. The institute held already two very successful training courses this year with attendants from industry and academia.

Continuous biopharmaceutical manufacturing linking upstream and downstream processes can lead to significant productivity improvements. Key technologies for implementing such continuous processes have to be synchronized. ChromaCon intends to present its Contichrom® CUBE FPLC systems with the ability to link these modular units to build a fully continuous downstream processing train under a single synchronized process control. The technology leads to productivity increases of more than 80-fold, compared to standard single column mAb platform processes.
